WEN provides fun monthly networking meetings for wedding and event professionals with the opportunity to showcase a host venue and the abilities and wares of a few featured vendors. At a WEN meeting, attendees can find the people, equipment and services that they may need for a wedding or event. Others will be looking for the expertise that you offer. It’s often a simple handshake that becomes the beginning of a profitable professional relationship. The meetings provide the opportunities for those handshakes to happen. Those networking experiences will then be complimented by this forum which will invite guest writers regularly to provide some insight into the other professions that we all work beside while providing goods and services to weddings and other social, corporate and school events around Arizona.
Many of us are also members of our various professional associations that provide useful educational content within the realm of our various fields of expertise. Our hope is that the Wedding and Event Network can provide a forum for inter-industry education and commentary that may not be provided inside of other professional associations. Our associations may have some members in common, but our purposes vary.
